1. Introduction

Welcome to coderel ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform, which integrates with GitHub organizations via a GitHub App. By accessing, registering for, or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and coderel, and they outline your rights, responsibilities, and obligations while using our platform.

2. Eligibility

To use our platform, you must be at least 18 years old or have obtained valid parental or guardian consent. If you are using our platform on behalf of an organization, you further represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

5. GitHub Integration

  • Permissions: By installing our GitHub App, you grant us permission to access certain metadata from your GitHub account, including but not limited to pull request details, organization member information, and repository metadata.
  • Data Handling: We do not store or access your repository contents, source code, or commit data. Our platform is designed to respect your privacy and the security of your data.
  • Compliance with GitHub’s Terms: You are responsible for ensuring that your use of our platform complies with GitHub’s terms of service and any other applicable policies.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Ownership: We retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the platform, including but not limited to our software, algorithms, user interfaces, logos, trademarks, and other intellectual property.
  • Restrictions: You may not copy, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, or otherwise exploit our intellectual property without our prior written consent. Any unauthorized use of our intellectual property may result in legal action.

7. Fees & Payments

  • Pricing: Some features of the platform may require payment. Pricing and billing details, including subscription plans and payment terms, will be provided at the time of purchase or subscription.
  • Fee Changes: We reserve the right to modify our fees at any time. Existing users will be notified of any fee changes in advance, and continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new fees.
  • Refunds: Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in a separate agreement or required by applicable law.

8. Termination

  • By Us: We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time if we determine that you have violated these Terms or engaged in any prohibited activities.
  • By You: You may close your account at any time by following the instructions provided on our platform.
  • Effect of Termination: Upon termination:
    • You must immediately cease all use of our services.

  • Cap on Liability: Our total liability for any claim related to the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months (if applicable).

  • Your use of the platform.
  • Your violation of these Terms.
